A soulful and emotive artist, award-winning singer-songwriter Nicole Nighthawk's relatable and heart-felt original songs take listeners on a powerful journey with her captivating vocals and lyrics.
Nicole has taken to the stage to open for touring artists including The Screaming Jets, Bic Runga, Shawn Mullins, Jeff Lang, Russell Morris, and has performed on national television as backing vocalist for Christine Anu. She has performed the National Anthem for the AFL Cairns mens grand final, and her performance of the Australian National Anthem at the Drag Racing Nationals saw Nicole receive a standing ovation from an audience of 35,000 people.
With her band GRANDHOUR, Nicole won 'Best Rock Artist' at the 2016 Australian Independent Music Awards with their self-recorded, self-produced album ‘Bombs & Bullets’ - all songs written by Nicole. Twelve months later, while recording the band’s sophomore album, Nicole made the hardest decision of her life and walked away from everything she had been working so hard towards. With the heartbreak of leaving her marriage to GRANDHOUR guitarist and producer, and the anguish of breaking up a band on the rise, Nicole’s journey to her debut solo release has been paved with emotional lows, highs, feelings of loss, new love, and finding the strength within. She found solace and healing through songwriting and, little by little, started to shape the beginnings of her solo career.
Nicole's solo debut, dark-pop single “No Tomorrow” was described by Australian Musician Magazine as “An impressive debut from a multi-talented artist. With ‘No Tomorrow’ Nicole Nighthawk delivers an epic, deeply personal tale of love, passion and reflection. It’s a vast production without ever being overblown. It’s the sound of a thoughtful songwriter maturing, one who understands the dynamics of a tune and the intricacies of modern day composition in general.”.
Her follow-up single “Going Under”, a heavy-hitting, alternative rock track, encapsulates the feeling of despair as you navigate grief and the long and often lonely road to healing. Nicole says, " 'Going Under' was written in my darkest hour after ending my marriage, my band, and leaving everything I knew myself to be, to start over. This song was my grieving, an outpouring of all the emotions that hit me, pulling me under."
“Written in the Stars”, Nicole's third release, is a departure from the anguish and heartbreak in many of her songs. Written as a love song for her wife on their wedding day, the song celebrates the next chapter of life and love for the singer-songwriter and is a crowd favourite at live performances.
After leaving Melbourne in 2021, Nicole has quickly settled into a new life in Tropical North Queensland, where she has become known for her engaging live performances at popular venues and festivals in and around Cairns.
Nicole is currently working on her full studio album with new singles to drop in 2026.

Hannah Conda has been dazzling audiences around the globe for over 15 years and was recently runner-up on the critically acclaimed BBC SeriesRuPaul’sDrag RaceUK Vs The World. Representing Australian drag on a global scale competing against queens from across the world. This was all possible of course due to herimpeccableshowing on the Stan Original Series RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under Season 2(AACTA and Logie Nominated) where Hannah also was runner up.
After conquering the Perth drag scene, Hannah took a leap of faith across theNullarbor to make her sparkly mark in the big smoke of Sydney. There, she cemented her royal status by becoming the only queen to ever win both Rising Star and Entertainer of the Year at the Drag Industry Variety Awards(DIVAs) in the same year.
Hannah has produced and performed shows at prominent venues all acrossAustralia and now globally. Recently dazzling audiences in the UK, USA and ThePhilippines. Hannah has also had the incredible pleasure working with iconic companies such as Google, Uber, Logitech, KFC, Koala, PWC, The BobbyGoldsmith Foundation and Amazon just to name a few. Often billed as “The Queen of The Cross”, she began her career as an original cast member and later Bardot-like star of the long-running male revue Les Girls (pronounced LAY-GIRLS) cabaret show, which started in 1963 in the purpose-built and Abe Saffron-owned Les Girls nightclub in the heydeys of Sydney’s Kings Cross. Carlotta came out as a transgender woman and rose through the ranks of the show to eventually become the show’s compere and its star She was even one of the inspirations for the film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and featured in the Aussie soap opera Number 96 in 1973 and has been a part of Australian culture and famous for one of those rare talents where only one name is required. He won the Helpmann Award for Best Cabaret Performer in 2016 for his Cole Porter tribute, Cole, and was nominated for a Green Room Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as Bob Crewe in Jersey Boys. He also appeared in the original Australian cast of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, We Will Rock You and Shout!. His acclaimed one-man cabaret show In Vogue: Songs By Madonna, Sweet Dreams: Songs By Annie Lennox, Adolescent , Lucky: Songs by Kylie and Cole have delighted critics and audiences across every cabaret festival in Australia and beyond to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, Hong Kong, Christchurch, Auckland and Edinburgh Fringe, where he received five-star reviews and standing ovations. He has even made it to Antarctica playing piano on the Planetdwellers Antarctica Pride cruise and helping bring an electric and chilled fun vibe to a part of the world that doesn't normally experience all of that. He has toured California, played Feinstein’s/54 Below in New York and London’s Royal Albert Hall, and with his dear friend Amelia Ryan is touring Livvy & Pete: The Songs of Olivia Newton-John and Peter Allen across Australia. His original song 'Resemblance' was featured in the award-winning ABC documentary Sperm Donors Anonymous. Michael won the Best Cabaret Adelaide Fringe Award in 2014 and Best Cabaret Adelaide Fringe Weekly Award in 2015 and 2016 You are guaranteed to be entertained, and of course, he is easy on the eyes!

Champagne’s blend of glamour, humour and professionalism has cemented her as one of Sydney’s most fierce and fabulous drag entertainers.

When Gordon aka. DJ Ruby could not get enough uplifting trance he decided that Sydney needed more of this music and after receiving rave reviews from his
friends for his awesome mixes he started hitting the decks to master his craft.
His logo comes from his motto "Soar like an eagle on the wings of our music" which sums up how he wants his crowds to feel when he plays his style of music.
About two decades ago he released his first official CD called Ruby Trance Vol. 1 and wanted to celebrate the milestone with a gig at a small underground-style club called the Milkbar.
With his background in theatre (where he got his nickname) and lighting design, he had the perfect mix to accompany his music with striking laser shows that left partygoers in awe.
The more he played, the more popular he became and the more extravagant his parties became, hosting specially themed gigs such as Ruby and the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Ruby on Cloud Nine, 1001 Ruby Nights, Ruby in Space and many, many more. DJ Ruby has travelled around the country bringing his mix of uplifting trance to infamous gigs such as Sydney Mardi Gras (main event & recoveries), Tropical Fruits NYE parties & Trance on the Harbour to name a few.
On Gaydream Island, Ruby, amongst many DJ sets throughout the island, will create our Jungle Party theme to blend into the lush green rainforests that surround the resort, bringing out your inner Tarzan, Jane or Cheeta.

All payments are strictly non-refundable after their respective due dates, (including your initial deposit) and failure to meet the payment date above will result in automatic cancellation without a refund.
If you need to make a change, please let us know, and we will advise you of the details; however, note that if you add a person to your room, the original cost will reset to the current cost at the time of booking the extra person.
If removing or changing a roommate, a change fee of $175.00 will apply to the change, in addition to the above.
All changes need to be approved by Planetdwellers and are not automatically guaranteed.
All bookings are non-transferable in general; however, if we are able to find someone to take over your booking, a further non-refundable amount of $250.00 will be applied to your balance.
