Tuesday 5th Sept, 2023
Join us for some “Bubbles and Cupcakes” at our Planetdwellers store on Oxford Street from 6pm to 8pm and meet the crew and fellow travellers before we head out tomorrow morning.
Wednesday 6th Sept, 2023
Sydney to Cobar
Today is the day! We meet at the Planetdwellers store and board our bus “Lashes”, and off we go.
Our first stop along the way is the Hydro Majestic Hotel in the Blue Mountains. Then we make our way past gorgeous towns and rural hot spots like Bathurst, Orange, Dubbo, Nyngan before “Lashes” parks herself in Cobar.
There’s time to check in, refresh and head out to the local club for dinner and drinks (own expense).

Thursday 7th Sept, 2023
Cobar to Broken Heel
Today our first stop is the amazing and unique Emmdale Roadhouse. There’s great coffee, food and colourful outfits for sale, ready for a Broken Heel outing. We then head to our next stop at Wilcannia and on to the “Welcome to Broken Hill” sign, where it’s the fabulous group photo time.
After arriving at Broken Hill we showcase the Palace Hotel where the magic will all be happening. We end at the Ibis Styles Hotel for our check in. At 5:30pm we take the bus to the top of the slagheap for a view of a stunning sunset over Broken Hill and all the surrounding red earth scenery.
From there it is straight to the Palace Hotel for our Group Welcome Dinner (included). This place will already be super busy and filled with vibes galore.
Head back to the hotel whenever you like.

Friday 8th Sept, 2023
Broken Hill
The day is yours to spend with your guide or others in the group or on your own if you prefer. We meet at the hotel lobby at 5:30pm to walk over to the Palace Hotel for the 6pm kick off.
This is truly a super night of amazing drag queen and drag king performances like no other, with so many happy locals and visitors from all over.
Food and drink stalls are all round the venue (at own expense).
The night wraps up around 2am, but of course you are free to walk the 5 minutes to the hotel at any time you are ready.

Saturday 9th Sept, 2023
Broken Hill
The day is yours to spend with your guide or others in the group or on your own if you prefer. We meet at the hotel lobby at 5:30pm to walk over to the Palace Hotel for the 6pm kick off.
Today the festivities all move to the main square where the town comes out to play.
We join in the fun with our own “Planetdwellers Broken Heel Pride March Float”. This is the time to dress up as colourfully as possible to brighten up the outback.
At 5:30pm we meet at the hotel lobby to head to the Palace for night 2 – the night when all the locals come out to party. Will the last person to leave please turn off the lights?

Sunday 10th Sept, 2023
Broken Hill — Silverton — Broken Hill
This morning atter another fun breakfast at the hotel we are back on “Lashes” to chase the rainbow to Silverton where the festival shows move to the pub. Our tables are front and centre for the best view. You can enjoy a pub meal and a few drinks in the luscious warm sun (at own expense) then head back to our hotel around 3pm via stunning photo ops at the Mundi Mundi Plains.
At around 5:30pm join the group for the walk over to the Palace Hotel. It’s the last night and there’s a more chilled vibe. Head back when you are ready or stay ’til the very last drink!

Monday 11th Sept, 2023
Broken Hill — Dubbo
Enjoy the Ibis Hotel continental breakfast by the pool.
We hop back on “Lashes” for the first leg of our trip home.
Our stops will be Emmdale Roadhouse and Cobar before arriving in Dubbo and checking in.
Relax or head to the bar before we have our Farewell Group Dinner (included) at the hotel restaurant, it’s our final drink, eat and be merry time together.

Tuesday 12th Sept, 2023
Dubbo — Sydney
Enjoy the Ibis Hotel continental breakfast by the pool.
Today we are heading back to the bright lights of Sydney.
We leave at 9am and stop along the way in Orange, Bathurst and the Blue Mountains.
Finally “Lashes” pulls up at the Planetdwellers store around 4:30pm. We say our goodbyes and begin the countdown to next year’s crazy outback adventure.
